Central Park Conservatory
There is a special vibe about New York; it ebbs and flows from the stillness of the morning to the vibrancy of the evening. From the landmarks and history to the quiet corners and areas you might not know existed if you weren’t looking.
One special place I love for outdoor weddings is the Central Park Conservatory. Nestled behind the ornate Vanderbilt gate is the Italian Garden, which leads to the Pergola. Exchanging your vows with an intimate bridal party in this unique setting is unlike anything else in New York City. With the fountain behind you and the shade of the greenery, you may wonder if you are truly in ‘the city that never sleeps’ or in the heart of the English countryside.
The beautiful Italian Garden is bordered by the English Garden on the left and the French Garden on the right. These smaller gardens provide tranquility and a variety of floral beauty, making them perfect for photos.
The Italian garden and pergola are scheduled to open this Spring, 2025. New York is beautiful in the Spring, and the flowers are blooming. The weather is changing, but you can still feel the crispness in the air.
Planning an intimate wedding in the Italian Garden is a must. View the website for renovation updates and details to plan a beautiful wedding ceremony in what I call an oasis in ‘the city’ that never sleeps.
