I carried this calling for years before I accepted it and let it surface. I built a career at the executive level — operating in rooms where the margin for error was zero, where nothing could be overlooked, and where discretion was not a feature but a requirement.
What I know now is that the career and the calling were building the same thing: the standard I bring to every event I manage.
What started as a career soon became a calling.
